About Me

My name is Astroboy Pascal for those who don’t know me. People often ask me where I was born. The truth is, I don’t know. It’s a question I’ve carried for as long as I can remember, but it doesn’t define who I am. I’ve lived in Tanzania, moved to Mozambique at age two, and then to Zimbabwe at six where I spent nine years and call home. In 2018, I moved to the United States, where I continue to pursue my passion for dance.

This is more than a website, it’s the story of a dancer who found rhythm before words, movement before home. Dance has always been the one constant in my life. It's how I connect with people and express who I am.

The Journey Begins

My connection to dance began at a young age. Even before I had formal training, I had natural rhythm. Once I stepped into a studio, everything changed. I learned how to communicate through movement and truly began to grow as a dancer.

Mastering the Craft

In high school, I took ballet, jazz, and hip-hop in dance class. I wasn’t on the dance team because I started junior year, and you had to start as a freshman to join.

Ballet taught me discipline, grace, and strength. Contemporary gave me the freedom to express emotions and stories. Hip-hop brought out my energy, agility, and cultural expression. Each genre shapes my voice as a dancer. I don’t call myself a professional because I’m always learning something new every single day.

Sharing the Passion

Dance isn’t just something I do it’s something I live. I love teaching and sharing what I’ve learned. People sometimes ask for tutorial videos based on my content, and I’m always happy to help.

I lead workshops and masterclasses for dancers of all levels. Whether you're new or experienced, I believe dance has something to offer everyone it’s about truth, connection, creativity, and freedom.

Exploring African and Cultural Dances

In 2025, I’m especially into African dancing. It’s powerful, rooted in heritage, and full of energy. I’m also excited to explore other cultural dances for fun, learning, and growth.

If you want to discover more African dance styles, I highly recommend an app called African Dance Dictionary, founded by Isaac Kyere. You can also look it up on TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, or Instagram. Some amazing African dances to explore include:
